The TriaDyne Proventa Therapy System offers features and benefits designed to manage pulmonary and skin care complications for critically ill, immobile patients:
- Kinetic Therapy – bilateral rotation of patients by more than 40˚ to each side – increased oxygenation and reduced risk of ICU-acquired pneumonia
- Low air loss therapy distributes pressure and helps to regulate the skin microclimate. Achieving the optimal range of skin temperature and humidity is a vital factor in the prevention and control of pressure ulcers.
- Pulsation therapy mimics the body’s natural movements to improve blood and lymph flow, thereby increasing oxygenation and reducing oedema.
- Percussion therapy helps loosen pulmonary secretions and the need for manual interventions

Contraindications
- Unstable cervical, thoracic and/or lumbar fracture
- Cervical and/or skeletal traction
For Percussion Therapy:
- Multiple rib fractures
- Persistent intracranial hypertension
- Bronchospasm
- Post-operative periods following cardiac surgery
